|Hot Roddin' Romeos, Power Rockabilly from the U.S.A.
The Hot Roddin' Romeos, one of the Northwest's premier four-piece rockabilly bands, delivers everything from hot roddin' rockabilly to "swanky" swing, and even a little foot-stomping country. Setting the stage back to the 1950's, this rockabilly dance band revs up nostalgia for drive-ins, diners, and make-out points. The "Hot Roddin' Romeos" are fueled with fire raging songs of hot rods, eager women, dirty martinis, and classic rock n' roll. Their name naturally comes from a love of classic hot rods, (in conjunction with their good looks, charm and conceit). So here we are! With our hair pomped high, alcohol in our veins, jeans rolled up, and our engines revved up, ready to go!! "It's All about Cars, Bars and Guitars!!!"

Johnny Rocket is not new to the entertainment business. Coming from a musical background and family, he has been in numerous talent/variety shows since he was 12 years old and has shared the stage with many big performers including: Ginny and the Wolves, The Emerald City Players, Just Dirt, and many more to count. Johnny's passion for rockabilly, blues, jazz, and western swing was all the fuel that was needed for the spark that ignited the "Hot Roddin' Romeos". Johnny also uses his talents as an organizer/promoter and president of the Rockabilly Preservation Society in the Northwest. His deep passion for music, his gravelly voice, conceptual thinking, high energy, dynamic showmanship, greaser style, and his creative song and lyric-writing, has placed Johnny in the drivers seat as the front-man for the "Hot Roddin' Romeos".
Jumpin' Joe is an extremely talented musical veteran who started off playing guitar for nearly 25 years for successful bands such as: The Tone Dogs, Two Tone Comet, Joe Majority, The Big Heads, and The Blues Co-Op. His passion for rockabilly and folk music, made him switch to the "upright bass". Joe found his niche and having more fun playing "Slap Bass" than any other instrument (maybe not as much fun as his accordion); but either way, Joe ended up playing, and is still playing for the highly successful folk/ bluegrass band The Dandelion Greens. Joe's rockabilly and slap bass skills has earned him a tremendous respect not only as a bass player but as a rockabilly player. With Joe's uncanny talent and experience he lays the Romeo's foundation down like no other, not only is the band proud to have talent like his, he is an invaluable part to the rhythm section of the "Hot Roddin' Romeos".
Killer Kate is the rockabilly chick with sticks. Katy is not new to the entertainment and theatre business either. Playing drums for over 12 years, her passion for percussion and musical studies started early in her life. Her talent just does not lie within the drums she plays every percussion instrument there is! (Including the triangle!) And the Cello. Katy has also been involved in numerous theatrical performances in Bellingham and at Northwestern University. She has Rock n' Rolled with the best talent out there including: Rob Anderson of Robotronica, Sally Rhods of Hathor's Havoc, the band NRG and numerous other bands. Her freshness, her sexy pin-up girl style and BIG personality can warm even the coldest of hearts or break em'. She lays the swing down for the guys while proving that she can do a man's job and does it with style for the "Hot Roddin' Romeos" .
Roadkill Ron is a naturally gifted musical genius, guitar player, and composer. Dr. Ron began his musical studies at the age of 4 and has been playing guitar since the age of 6! (With occasional pauses for food)! Not only does he play "Rockabilly Guitar" he plays the trumpet, mandolin, piano, and the infamous ukulele and too many more cool instruments to count. His passion for Rock n' Roll and musical study has landed Ron with a Doctorate in music. His works have been played in Europe, the U.S., Australia and South America and has won many awards for his compositions and performances around the world. Ron is also the founder of Eisteddfod, a group of Puget Sound area composers dedicated to the performance of their own works. Ron's genius and passion for rockabilly music landed him playing for the very successful rockabilly band Ludwig's Van and now the lead guitar player for the "Hot Roddin' Romeos".
