The brand new album "Women & Cadillacs" features some of the most authentic recordings yet by Rhythm King Mike Sanchez. This exciting release is the globe-trotting British musician's first collaboration wiyh Sweden's top rockin' blues outfit Knock-Out Greg & Blue Weather. All fans of Mike's previous work will rate this his best album yet for sure.

The release of "Women & Cadillacs" celebrates the launch of Mike's new label and on-line mail order store Doopin Music, making this album the start of an ongoing series of recordings for rhythm & blues lovers everywhere. The Doopin Music release of "Women & Cadillacs" features 16 new recordings, including a bonus 20 minutes of 'hidden' too-good-to-waste leftovers. The album's UK release features a quality six-page digi-pack format, lavishly designed by the reputable Chris Wroe at Wacksworks, while also being available in a regular plastic packaging from the Swedish label Last Buzz Records.

"Women & Cadillacs" is a potent cocktail of vintage-style West Coast rhythm & blues, New Orleans rock 'n' roll, Texas blues and Mike Sanchez boogie woogie. It's one of the most authentic-sounding records Mike has ever been involved in, recorded at Real Music Studio, Bromma, Sweden where Greg and the guys regularly record their own music, including the award-winning Sven Zetterberg album "Let Me Get Over It" from 2002.

Mike's own words on his new album:
"I'm lucky enough to see dozens of bands, while I travel the world with my own band or as a member of Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, but nobody's hit me like Knock-Out Greg & Blue Weather. I first caught them live in the late 1990's and was blown away by their dedicated approach and vintage rhythm & blues sound. I just knew we had to work together. We started making this album at the end of 2001, I'd fly to Stockholm and we'd spend two days doing live gigs, then two in the studio, so while we were on a roll we'd record several tracks on each visit. I brought the guys to England over Easter 2002, and we raised the roof at the Colne Blues Festival among others. The crowds couldn't believe how great they are, well now here's the proof. Women & Cadillacs is finished at last and I'm very proud and excited with the result. Please enjoy!"
